Hollow Precession: Still Born
Hollow Precession is a series of sculptural installations inspired by the grief of stunted, unrealized dreams and the mourning of what never came to be. Expanding on the concepts introduced in Hollow Minds, this body of work transforms personal loss into a collective experience.
The procession invites viewers to physically participate—honoring the silent burdens, hardships, and personal stories we each carry through life. In moving through the installation, the audience becomes part of a ritual that gives space to what is often left unspoken.
Inspiration in the form of small gestures: Hollow Minds
Hollow Minds is a series of miniature sculptures that inspired the later work, Hollow Precession: Still Born. These pieces functioned as physical prayers—created during a time of navigating disappointment, loss, and hardship.
Each sculpture responds to a unique, collected story of lived experience, offering a quiet reflection on the burdens we carry. The series asks: What do we allow to fill the space in our minds, and how does that inner weight shape our outer selves?
Through scale, material, and emotional resonance, Hollow Minds invites viewers into a meditative space where personal struggle becomes communal reflection.
